It's Sunday. The temperatures are generally moderating. Outside at 7am, its 21 degrees. The high tunnel is 24 degrees.
On the agenda today:
We added online purchases of shoots along with the eggs for farmstand pickup
Spring can't come fast enough! Having the High Tunnel is fantastic. Working in daytime temperatures of 60-80 degrees is great. Walking back out into snowy, muddy, cold is a bit of a bummer.
Tom DeCoste - Farmer
I came to Maine 20 years ago and planted the seeds which have grown into what Foxgreen Farm, LLC is today. Sustainable agriculture has been my focus. Today, at our newer location in Howland, we hope to grow and sell food locally, feeding the community and surrounding areas. My son joined me in 2015 and has been an important part of the farm's growth. We welcome you and invite you to take part in our story.
